Unilabs is strengthening its digitally connected pathology network across Switzerland, enabling pathology teams to collaborate across locations and making specialist expertise more accessible throughout the country. This development forms part of Unilabs’ broader European collaboration with Proscia and its Concentriq® digital pathology platform.

Digital pathology is helping Unilabs connect pathology expertise, workflows, diagnostic data and artificial intelligence within a shared digital environment.

Across Switzerland, this connected approach enables pathology teams to collaborate beyond individual laboratories and locations, supporting faster access to specialist expertise and helping healthcare professionals receive high-quality diagnostic insights.

The Swiss network is part of Unilabs’ broader pathology organisation, which brings together more than 350 experts and 400 laboratory technicians across 12 countries, analysing approximately 9 million pathology sections every year.

Connecting expertise across Switzerland and beyond

Through Proscia’s Concentriq® platform, Unilabs is further developing a digital pathology environment that connects pathologists, laboratory teams, diagnostic data and AI capabilities.

For Switzerland, this means strengthening collaboration between specialists across the network and enabling expertise to be shared more easily regardless of location.

At European level, several Unilabs countries are already using Concentriq AP-Dx for routine case review, with additional deployments expected before the end of 2026.
