INTEGRATED PATHOLOGY EXPERTISE

Specialist pathology support for clinical decision-making

When tissue or cell-based diagnosis is needed, you need clear reporting, specialist interpretation and access to expertise when cases are more complex.

Our pathology teams work alongside physicians, hospitals and specialist clinics to support diagnosis, disease classification, therapy-relevant decisions and patient follow-up. Where needed, pathology insights can be integrated with clinical laboratory testing, genetics and radiology to provide a more complete diagnostic perspective.

Pathology at a glance

Our pathology portfolio covers tissue- and cell-based diagnostics, molecular methods and digital workflows to support routine cases and more complex diagnostic questions.

AI-SUPPORTED PATHOLOGY

Digital and AI-enabled workflows in daily pathology practice

We use digital pathology and AI-supported tools, including Ibex Galen™, to support pathologists in selected cases. Slides are scanned into high-resolution digital images, enabling remote access, streamlined workflows and easier collaboration.

AI tools analyse these images to highlight patterns and areas of interest, helping prioritise regions for closer review. Used alongside expert pathologists, they support efficiency, consistency and diagnostic confidence, contributing to high-quality, clinically relevant reporting.

MOLECULAR ONCOLOGY MONITORING

Signatera™ for molecular residual disease monitoring

Signatera™ is a personalised, tumour-informed ctDNA test for monitoring molecular residual disease in selected solid tumours. It is customised to each patient’s tumour profile, enabling highly specific detection of tumour DNA in the blood.

By tracking tumour-specific DNA signals in the blood over time, it can provide additional molecular information to support recurrence risk assessment, treatment-response monitoring and follow-up discussions where clinically appropriate.
