The Unilabs laboratory in Lausanne is authorised by the Federal Office of Police (Fedpol) to perform relationship and paternity testing.

The analysis reports have legal validity and can therefore be presented in court, provided that the samples have been collected at one of our laboratories or collection centres approved for this type of analysis.

Prenatal paternity test

Unilabs offers a non-invasive prenatal paternity test, allowing biological paternity to be assessed during pregnancy.

The DNA paternity test uses genetic profiles to determine whether one person is the biological parent of another.

In Switzerland, paternity testing is subject to the regulatory requirements applicable to DNA profiles in civil and administrative matters. The Unilabs laboratory is recognised by Fedpol to perform non-invasive prenatal paternity testing.

Conditions

For any request, please send an email to DNAtest.ch@unilabs.com indicating:

• Your name

• Your place of residence

• The stage of pregnancy

No test may be performed without the knowledge of a person concerned.

Samples are collected exclusively at specially trained Unilabs collection centres approved for this test.

Recognised and authorised

• Test accredited according to ISO 17025

• Authorised by the relevant Swiss authorities

• Reports have legal validity and may therefore be used in court

Accuracy and validation

• Each test is performed twice to ensure the reliability of the result

• The report is validated by two FAMH specialists in medical genetics

Confidentiality

• Samples are analysed anonymously

• Unilabs is committed to ensuring complete impartiality

• The confidential report is sent by email or handed over in person
