Additional information

Important points for interpreting selected markers

  1. A complete blood count is included in the routine annual assessments recommended by the Swiss Society of Sports Medicine (SSSM).

  2. CK interpretation should take into account the duration and intensity of exercise as well as the time elapsed since physical activity. For a baseline assessment, at least 72 hours of rest is recommended.

  3. Cystatin C is a marker of kidney function that is independent of creatine intake and less dependent on muscle mass than creatinine.

  • Fitness to continue sport – annual assessment: CHF 67.50

  • Nutritional deficiency assessment for female/male athletes: CHF 171.10

  • In-season monitoring for female/male athletes: CHF 29.40

  • Fitness to return to sport: CHF 108.30

  • Fatigue assessment for male athletes: CHF 384.10

  • Fatigue assessment for female athletes: CHF 364.80

Administrative fee: CHF 24.–

Assessments performed with a medical prescription may be reimbursed under LAMal.

Assessments performed without a medical prescription are not reimbursed and are subject to the applicable VAT.
