PRENATAL PATERNITY TEST
Non-invasive prenatal testing
DNA paternity testing
DNA paternity testing is the use of DNA profiles to determine whether an individual is the biological parent of another individual. Paternity testing can be especially important when the rights and duties of the father are an issue and a child's paternity is in doubt. In Switzerland, paternity tests are subject to the requirements of the VDZV / OACA / ODCA, the Ordinance on DNA Profiling in Civil and Administrative Matters. Unilabs laboratory is recognised by the Federal Office of Police (Fedpol) to perform non-invasive prenatal paternity tests.
